We understand that a true understanding of God can be found through the proper application science, philosophy, and theology. We accept our views will evolve as our understanding changes. Once a true understanding of God is reached, it will become the foundation of our faith.

We accept and emphasize the necessity of both religion and science in providing meaning and understanding in existence.

Further as a foundational religion, Those Who Muse seek to provide humanity with the philosophical and moral structures required to persevere into an uncertain future.
Those who muse assert that God is an absolute even if our understanding is not. However, we accept that by working to better understand existence we will come to better understand God.

The common good is the principle that what benefits the many outweighs what benefits the few or the one. Actions or inactions that prevent pain, suffering, hardship, and horror, as well as those that create persistence, worth, quality, merit, meaning, cooperation, and thrift, serve the common good. Those Who Muse accept that by serving the common good, they themselves will be served.
